![]() I especially want to recommend it to teens looking for empowerment and encouragement to share their voice. ![]() It should be discussed in academia, it is an extremely important book. Moxie is a book that all teens and young adults NEED to read. ![]() I do want to place a content warning for sexual harassment and talk of rape/sexual assault (meaning we don’t necessarily see these events unfold like the sexual harassment spread throughout the book, but I still think it warrants a disclaimer that these sensitive topics are being discussed.) I originally wasn’t sure when I’d get to it, it just wasn’t high on my TBR, but after a sexist review, I knew I had to make it a priority and boy, did I make the right decision. It’s presented in the same attractive but slightly unwieldy format, halfway between a paperback and a coffee table book. Drawdown is one of my favourite climate books, an extensive study into the top fifty ways to reverse climate change, edited into an accessible and inspiring book by Paul Hawken. ![]() ![]() ![]() Ambitious for revisioning a medieval woman’s life, but unremarkable given Groff’s experience weaving stories from history and imagination.Ĭonsider the heroine’s family home in The Monsters of Templeton: a 1793 cottage with one wing dating to the Victorian era and the other to the 1970s.
